Deborah’s painting Three Women (pictured top) has been acquired by the Art Gallery of Ballarat. The work is currently on view in the exhibition, In the Company of Morris, presented in conjunction with the international exhibition, Pre-Raphaelites: Drawings and Watercolours from the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.In the Company of Morris comprises works by historical and contemporary artists that reflect the enduring legacy of William Morris. Among the artists are: Norman Lindsay, Deborah Klein, Elizabeth Pulie, William Strutt, Fiona Hiscock, Christian Waller, Napier Waller, Kate Rohde, Thomas Woolner, Bernhard Smith, Carole Wilson, Alice Muskett, Gwen Scott, Louiseann King, Stephen Bird, Janet Beckhouse and Emily Floyd.
Both exhibitions run to 6th August 2023

FORUM: Morris and Me
Art Gallery of Ballarat
On Saturday, 15 July, from 2-3 pm, Deborah will join sculptor Kate Rohde and ceramicist Glenn Barkley for a panel discussion led by art curator Christopher Menz about the impact of William Morris (and in Deborah’s case, the work of his younger daughter, May Morris), on their respective practices.
The event includes entry to Pre-Raphaelites Drawings and Watercolours from the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford and In the Company of Morris.

Deborah is one of the featured artists in the upcoming exhibition, Threads, at Coal Creek Community Park and Museum in Korumburra, Vic.
The exhibition runs from 6 March – 1 MayClunes Book Town Festival
Clunes Booktown Festival returns to the historic township in regional Victoria on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March. Deborah will join fellow artists Simon Perry and Philip Faulks in a panel discussion about visual storytelling and the narratives that inform their own work.
Whereabouts
Deborah is one of 57 selected Australian artists exploring the concept of place, country and home in Whereabouts, a printmaking exhibition curated by Rona Green. Opening at the Art Gallery of Ballarat in late 2023. (Dates to be confirmed).

2020-2022 APW George Collie Memorial Print Award
In 2020 Deborah was the recipient of the prestigious APW George Collie Memorial Print Award, culminating in the 2020-2022 George Collie Memorial Print Award Exhibition at Australian Print Workshop, Melbourne. As part of the award, Deborah’s linocut, I wished on the moon, was commissioned by the APW and printed by APW Master Printer, Simon White.Artist-in-Residence, Geelong Grammar School

Deborah is Artist Residence at Geelong Grammar School, Corio Campus, during Term 2.

81 Hesse Street Queenscliff VIC 3225Originally scheduled for 2021, but postponed because of lockdowns, Deborah’s solo exhibition focuses on the dominant motif in her work, namely the Rückenfigur, or figure seen from behind.
